It sits on three solid crystal ball feet like it owns the place, which at 1.16 kilos of hand-cut lead crystal, it kind of does.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe cutting is exceptional and covers every surface: sweeping diagonal mitre cuts wrap around the exterior like a perfectly tailored suit, interspersed with starburst pinwheels, fan motifs, and tiny six-pointed star rosettes that catch the light from every angle. Look at it from above and you get a spectacular kaleidoscope of intersecting cuts radiating from a central starburst — the kind of pattern that takes a skilled cutter hours to execute. The three ball feet are themselves faceted, because apparently the craftsman thought the bottom of the bowl deserved just as much attention as the top.
