Here it is — the workhorse of the Edwardian dinner table. The flat dinner plate. The one that actually holds the food. And what a plate it is.

Decorated with the same sweeping clusters of pink and purple anemones with those signature pearl-centred stamens and golden-green leaves as the rest of this dinner service, this 26 cm plate is the perfect companion to our matching soup plates, serving bowl, and platters. The ivory glaze is rich and warm, the scalloped edge is finished with a fine gold rim, and the whole thing has that satisfying weight that tells you it was made to last — which, given it's been going strong for over 120 years, checks out.

No backstamp, but the style and glaze are consistent with Devon pottery of the period.
