While its siblings in this dinner service go big and bold with full anemone clusters, this dinner plate takes a more refined approach. A graceful spray of pink clematis blooms and delicate trailing buds sweeps across the ivory surface, with fine golden-brown tendrils that look like they were painted by someone who actually had patience. The scalloped edge is finished with a crisp gold rim — subtle, elegant, and very much Edwardian.

No backstamp, but the ivory glaze, gold rim, and scalloped profile are consistent with Devon pottery of the period — part of the same early 20th-century English dinner service tradition as our matching platters and serving bowl.

At 24 cm, this is a proper dinner plate — not one of those modern plates that's 90% rim and 10% food. This one means business.
