This oval serving platter has been keeping its secrets for over a century — no backstamp, no name tag, just pure early 20th-century English pottery confidence. And honestly? We respect that energy.
The ivory glaze is decorated with a lush wreath of pink and purple anemones with those distinctive pearl-centred stamens, trailing golden-green leaves, and the whole thing is finished with a delicate gold rim on a beautifully scalloped edge. The style, glaze, and floral transfer are closely related to Devon pottery of the period — we're attributing this to that tradition, though it's keeping its maker a mystery.
A platter this size was made to be the centrepiece of a proper Edwardian Sunday lunch. It still is.
