Meet the frame that has been holding someone's most treasured memory since 1902 — and is ready to hold yours. Made by the Birmingham silversmith H.J. Moreton, this sterling silver frame is a masterclass in Edwardian excess: repoussé scrollwork, flowers, and ornamental cartouches covering every inch of the border, because apparently 'less is more' hadn't been invented yet. We respect that.
The hallmarks on the back confirm its English silver pedigree — lion passant, date letter, maker's mark H.J. Moreton, all present and correct. The original photograph of a rather charming Edwardian lady in a wide-brimmed hat is included, because she deserves to keep living her best life.
A small note: the rear easel stand is missing, so she'll need a little help standing up — a small prop or a picture ledge will do the trick. Doesn't affect the beauty one bit.
