Antique Silver-Plated Oval Server | Engraved Wheat & Scrollwork | c.1890–1910

Small but mighty. This oval silver-plated server may be modest in size, but it has the kind of engraved detail that makes you wonder how anyone had the patience — and the eyesight — to pull it off. Delicate wheat sheaves and scrolling foliage run around the entire border, framed by a beautifully scalloped edge that catches the light just so.

The style is classic late Victorian to Edwardian, likely English or German, dating to around 1890–1910. No visible hallmarks, but the quality of the engraving and the form speak for themselves. The silver plating shows honest age and patina on the reverse — exactly what you'd expect from a piece that's been around for over a century.
