Some bowls hold fruit. This one holds the entire aesthetic of an era. This is an Art Deco Rosaline pressed glass footed bowl, most likely German, from the 1930s — back when designers took one look at straight lines and said "absolutely not" and went full sunburst-and-swirl instead.
Rosaline glass is that gorgeous warm amber-pink tint that makes everything look like it's being lit by a perpetual golden hour. The pressed glass technique gives the sunburst and swirl pattern a crisp, tactile quality you can actually feel with your fingertips — every ridge sharp, every detail intentional. Three elegant feet keep it elevated — literally and figuratively.
It's heavy, solid, and completely intact. No chips, no cracks, no drama. Just 591 grams of pure vintage pressed glass doing what it does best: looking spectacular on a shelf while everyone wonders where you found it.
Dimensions: 19.5 x 8.5 cm
Weight: 591 grams
Material: Rosaline pressed glass
Style: Art Deco
Origin: Probably German, circa 1930s
Condition: Excellent — no chips, cracks or repairs
Use it as a fruit bowl, a centrepiece, a catch-all for keys, or just place it somewhere with good light and watch it glow. It will not disappoint.
WARNING: Once placed in direct sunlight, this bowl will cast warm rosaline reflections across your entire living room and you will spend the next 20 minutes just staring at it instead of doing anything productive. Maison de L'oro considers this a feature, not a bug. You have been warned.
