Bohemian Amethyst Glass Tumblers with Gold Enamel – Set of 4, 1870–1890

Four Bohemian amethyst glass tumblers from the 1870–1890 period, each hand-decorated with white enamel dot-work florals, gold leaf motifs, and a gilt band at the rim. The deep purple glass shifts from violet to amethyst depending on the light, and the combination of white enamel and gold against that colour is exactly as dramatic as it sounds.
The decoration features a repeating pattern of stylised flowers and clover-like leaves in white enamel with gold accents — a classic Bohemian technique of the period that required considerable skill and patience to execute. The gilt rim band shows wear consistent with age and use over 130–150 years, clearly visible in the photos. The amethyst glass and white enamel decoration remain in good condition.
Sold as a set of four.
