An 1890 Bohemian crystal vase with amber flash (that gorgeous golden overlay) and an etched grape and vine design. This is 135 years old and still absolutely stunning. Look at that faceted ball stem, the flared trumpet top, the way the amber catches the light – this is what Bohemian glassmakers were famous for in the late 19th century.

Bohemian glass from the 1890s was the pinnacle of European crystal craftsmanship. They'd coat clear crystal with a layer of colored glass (in this case, amber/gold), then etch through it to reveal the clear crystal underneath. Those grapes, those leaves, the delicate vine work – all done by hand with acid-etching or wheel-engraving. This is museum-quality work.

At 443 grams and 15cm tall, it's got perfect proportions. That faceted ball stem is a signature Bohemian touch, and the way it transitions from the stem to the flared top is just chef's kiss. This is the kind of piece that makes you understand why people collect antique Bohemian glass.

Why this is spectacular:

  • 1890 Bohemian crystal – 135 years old!
  • Amber flash (golden overlay) technique
  • Hand-etched grape and vine design
  • Faceted ball stem (classic Bohemian)

Perfect for serious collectors of Bohemian glass, lovers of 19th century antiques, or anyone who wants a piece of European crystal history on their shelf.
