This Bohemian opaline vase is what happens when glassmakers can't decide which decorative technique to use, so they just use ALL OF THEM. You've got milky white opaline glass that glows like a Victorian ghost, hand-painted blue and purple flowers, gold scrollwork everywhere, AND actual 3D molded flowers sticking out of the surface. It's like the glassmaker said "you know what this needs? More. Just more of everything." The result? This absolutely extra masterpiece with a ruffled gold-edged rim because apparently "subtle" wasn't in their vocabulary.

Opaline glass is that milky, translucent stuff that looks like it's lit from within. The Bohemians were obsessed with it in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and this vase shows why - it glows. But they didn't stop there. Hand-painted florals? Check. Gold frames? Check. 3D relief flowers molded into the glass? Also check. This is the "more is more" philosophy in glass form.

What you're getting:

  • White opaline glass: That glowy, milky translucent effect
  • Hand-painted florals: Blue and purple flowers with green leaves
  • 3D molded flowers: Actual raised blooms on the surface
  • Gold scrollwork: Ornate frames and details everywhere
  • Ruffled crimped rim: Wavy gold-edged top - peak Victorian drama
  • 21.5 x 10 cm, 458g: Perfect display size with quality weight

The condition is excellent - glowing opaline, vibrant paint, intact gold, crisp 3D details. Use it for flowers if you want, but honestly the vase IS already a bouquet. Maximum Victorian excess in the best possible way.
