This is not just a dish. This is a sunflower that decided to become a dish. Casa Pupo at their most joyful — a fully three-dimensional sunflower form with layer upon layer of sculpted petals radiating outward, and a beautifully detailed seed head at the centre with its characteristic dotted, honeycomb-like texture. In warm amber glaze that glows like actual sunshine.
It's the kind of object that makes people pick it up without asking. Which is fine, because it's also very satisfying to hold.
Use it as a trinket dish on your bedside table, a ring holder, a soap dish, a nibbles bowl for olives or nuts, or simply as a sculptural object that sits on a shelf and makes everything around it look more interesting. The original Casa Pupo sticker is still on the base.
