Small in size, zero in restraint. This miniature cloisonné vaasje packs a full floral display onto a deep black enamel ground — delicate blooms in pink, white, and warm tones with green foliage, all picked out in fine gold wire cloisons. On black, every colour becomes more itself. It's a tiny object with a lot to say.
The rounded form with flared neck is a classic Chinese cloisonné shape. Turquoise enamelled base. In top condition for its age — no chips, no cracks, no drama (except the decorative kind).
