Compact, confident, and covered in flowers. This small cloisonné vase carries a full floral composition on a deep black enamel ground — blooms in pink, white, and yellow with green foliage, all outlined in fine gold wire against the midnight background. The contrast is everything: colours that would look pleasant on a light ground become genuinely vivid on black.
A well-proportioned piece with the rounded belly and flared neck typical of Chinese cloisonné from this period. Turquoise enamelled base confirms Chinese origin. Fine condition throughout.
