A dancing figure in flowing robes takes centre stage, surrounded by all twelve zodiac signs in an ornate border of pale blue, gold and terracotta. The central figure is everything you'd expect from Banchelli: elongated, elegant, draped in a billowing pink and cream costume with gold accessories, set against a deep blue diamond-shaped background scattered with stars. The Aries symbol is prominently featured, suggesting this is the Aries plate from what was likely a full zodiac collector series.

The plate bears Banchelli's signature in the lower right — confident and unmistakable.
