This matching pair of chrome candelabras by Iante of England is mid-century design at its most confident — four sweeping curved arms meeting in a perfect diamond shape, three candle cups each, all balanced on a solid round base with a satisfying little ball joint in the centre. They look like they belong on the table of a very glamorous dinner party where everyone is wearing something fabulous and nobody is talking about work.

The chrome is bright and the design is timeless. There is some light patina and minor wear consistent with age — nothing dramatic, just the honest marks of a life well-lived. The Reg.
