Someone in Bohemia sat down with a block of crystal and thought: bigger. More facets. More stars. More everything. And then they kept going until they had created this absolute unit of a bowl — 30 centimetres across, 4.2 kilos of hand-cut crystal, and enough light-catching geometry to make your living room look like a disco ball had a very sophisticated older sibling.
The cutting is exceptional. We're talking concentric rings of hobstar motifs, diamond crosshatching, fan cuts, and a sawtooth rim that could probably cut glass — which, to be fair, it already is. The base throws the most incredible light patterns on any surface it touches. Put it near a window and your entire room becomes a kaleidoscope. You're welcome.
This is the kind of piece that sits on a sideboard and immediately becomes the thing everyone asks about. "Where did you get that?" You smile mysteriously. You don't have to explain anything.
