Somewhere in Ireland, around 1910, someone pressed molten glass into a mould and created something that still catches the light like a tiny sunset over a hundred years later. That someone was a genius. These bowls are their legacy.

This is a matched pair of Marigold Carnival Glass berry bowls, brought back from Ireland and dating to circa 1910. The colour is that unmistakable warm amber-gold with a full iridescent lustre — the kind that shifts from copper to gold to champagne depending on where the light hits. The pattern is a classic sunburst / starburst radiating from a central hobnail medallion, pressed into the base with satisfying precision. The exterior features vertical ribbing that catches the light from every angle. The rim is a dramatic ruffled scallop edge — twelve points of pure pressed-glass theatre.

They are a matched pair. They came from Ireland together. They have clearly been inseparable for over a century and we see no reason to break them up now.
