Here's a bottle that has clearly lived a life. Made on the island of Murano, Venice, around 1920, this gorgeous pink glass perfume bottle is the kind of object that makes you want to rearrange your entire dressing table around it. The warm blush-pink body is blown with a subtle ribbed texture and infused with shimmering gold foil inclusions that catch the light like tiny trapped sunsets.

The stopper is the real showstopper — a large, ornate amber glass disc with a scalloped sunburst edge and an embossed decorative motif, gilded in gold. It's the kind of stopper that makes the bottle look like it belongs in a Venetian palazzo rather than on a shelf. Which, to be fair, it probably did.

We believe in full transparency (much like the glass itself): the bottle has a stress crack — a hairline tension crack in the body, visible in the photos. The stopper is in perfect condition, and there is no other damage. This is reflected in the price, and makes it a wonderful display piece or collector's item for those who appreciate the beauty of imperfect things.

WARNING: Displaying this bottle on your dressing table will make every other perfume bottle you own feel deeply ordinary and slightly embarrassed. Maison de L'oro accepts no responsibility for the subsequent Murano glass collecting obsession this may trigger.
