Two words: Murano glass. Two more words: silver collar. And suddenly you have the most elegant pair of candlesticks in the room.
These stunning candlesticks are stamped on the base with the original label Vetro Soffiato di Murano — hand-blown glass from Murano, the legendary Venetian island where glassblowing has been an art form since the 13th century. The ribbed, baluster-shaped stems flow into swirling oval bases that catch the light beautifully from every angle.
Each candlestick is fitted with a decorative silver collar at the top, stamped with the maker's mark MC Au (RD), featuring a beaded oval cartouche flanked by scrollwork — the kind of detail that makes you look twice. The combination of hand-blown crystal-clear glass and the ornate silver mount is simply exceptional.
In excellent condition for their age — no chips, no cracks, no drama. Just two very beautiful candlesticks ready for their next chapter.
