When Poland said "we can do Delft blue too" and absolutely nailed it
This gorgeous hand-painted vase from Fajans Włocławek (early 1970s Poland) is proof that the Dutch didn't have a monopoly on beautiful blue and white ceramics. Complete with the Polish Olympic logo because apparently even pottery was patriotic in 1970s Poland.
What makes this special:
Fajans Włocławek was THE premium Polish pottery maker, creating hand-painted pieces that rivaled anything coming out of Delft. This vase has that classic blue and white aesthetic but with distinctly Polish folk art influences. The Olympic logo dates it to early 1970s when Poland was flexing its cultural muscles on the world stage.
Hand-painted details:
Every brushstroke was done by hand - you can see the slight variations that prove this isn't some factory print job. Polish artisans in the 70s took their craft seriously, and it shows in the quality and detail work.
What you're getting:
A substantial ceramic vase (26.5cm tall, 12cm wide, 760 grams) that works equally well with flowers or just sitting there looking gorgeous. The blue and white color combo is timeless, and that Olympic logo adds serious collector appeal.
Perfect for:
Collectors of Polish pottery, fans of Delft-style ceramics, Olympic memorabilia enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates hand-painted vintage pieces with actual history.
Condition notes:
50+ years old, so minor glaze crazing or tiny imperfections might be present. That's what happens with vintage ceramics and proves it's authentic.
Authentic Fajans Włocławek hand-painted vase from early 1970s Poland with Olympic logo. Minor age-related wear expected for vintage pottery.
