Okay so this thing has been sitting around since 1912 and it still looks better than most things made last year. That's the Royal Worcester effect. This tall, elegant chocolate pot comes dressed in a full Chinoiserie pattern — think lush blue peonies, trailing vines, and a little decorative plinth at the base that says "I was made by people who took their craft very seriously." The lid is original and still fits perfectly, which at 113 years old is frankly impressive.
Now, full transparency: she has some crazing — those fine hairline stress cracks in the glaze that happen when porcelain has lived a long and interesting life. They're not chips, not breaks, just the porcelain equivalent of laugh lines. Never used, just admired. And honestly, looking at it, you get it.
This is a display piece, a conversation starter, a "where did you find THAT" moment waiting to happen on your shelf.
