Ah, the Royal Worcester Evesham — the pattern that has been quietly making British kitchens look more sophisticated since 1961. This gorgeous leaf-shaped oven dish features the iconic Evesham plum motif: two deep purple plums on a branch with warm olive-green leaves, all on a classic cream-white porcelain ground. It's the kind of thing your grandmother had, and she had excellent taste.

Made by Royal Worcester — one of England's oldest and most prestigious porcelain manufacturers, founded in 1751 — this piece carries the gold "Mark of Quality" backstamp with the Royal Worcester W monogram, dating it to approximately 1980. The distinctive leaf shape with its scalloped edges and little pointed tip makes it as decorative as it is practical.

  • Maker: Royal Worcester, England
  • Pattern: Evesham (introduced 1961, produced through the 1980s-90s)
  • Shape: Leaf-shaped with scalloped rim
  • Dimensions: 19 × 14.5 × 4 cm
  • Weight: 230 g
  • Oven safe: Yes — this is proper ovenware, not just a pretty face

Use it to serve roasted cherry tomatoes, a little gratin, some baked brie — or just put it on a shelf and let it do what Royal Worcester does best: look absolutely timeless. Either way, your kitchen wins.

⚠️ WARNING: This dish will make whatever you put in it taste approximately 40% more elegant. Maison de L'oro accepts no responsibility for any sudden urge to host a Sunday roast, buy a linen tablecloth, or start referring to your oven as "the range."
