Vintage Round Crystal Ashtray – Star & Fan Pattern, c.1970

If the previous ashtray was a square bruiser, this one is its elegant round cousin who went to art school. Same era, completely different personality. This round crystal ashtray features a beautifully intricate starburst pattern in the centre — fine radial lines radiating outward from a frosted central medallion, framed by delicate loop motifs — all surrounded by four deep cigar rests and a spectacular spiked, crown-like rim that catches the light like a chandelier.

The form is classic 1970s pressed crystal: thick, heavy, and deeply detailed. The combination of the smooth interior bowl, the geometric star pattern, and the dramatic pointed rim makes this one of those pieces that looks completely different depending on the angle. From above it's a snowflake. From the side it's a crown. Either way, it's a showstopper.
