Fish night just got a serious upgrade. This is a large silver-plated fish serving set by Walker & Hall — one of Sheffield's most celebrated cutlery houses — and it has been sitting in dignified retirement since 1906, waiting for someone with actual taste to rescue it. That's you.

The set consists of a large fish serving fork and a fish serving knife/slice, both featuring an elegant triple-line and X-motif pattern on the handles — a classic Edwardian design that somehow manages to look both restrained and fancy at the same time. The kind of cutlery that makes your guests sit up straighter without knowing why.

The silver plate is in good vintage condition with the lovely warm patina you'd expect from a piece that's actually lived a life. These are proper serving pieces — large format, substantial in the hand, and built to impress.

Maker's marks:

  • Walker & Hall, Sheffield — one of England's premier cutlery manufacturers since 1845
  • EPNS A1 — highest quality silver plate
  • Hallmarked c.1906

⚠️ WARNING: Serving fish with these will make your dinner guests assume you have a butler, a country house, and strong opinions about the correct wine pairing. Maison de L'oro accepts no responsibility for any subsequent pressure to host a formal fish supper, or for the look of quiet devastation on your guests' faces when they realise they have to go back to their own cutlery drawer afterwards.
